Hoai Trung, who is traveling as a special envoy of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s General Secretary and President To Lam, will update Cuban authorities on the results of the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, held in Hanoi in January.

The Vietnamese foreign minister will hold, during his stay in the capital, official talks with his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodriguez.

The visitor will also carry out a program that will contribute to strengthening the historic ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

Cuba and Vietnam have maintained diplomatic relations for more than six decades, characterized by solidarity, mutual support, and cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, biotechnology, education, and trade.
