Cubans from several countries across the continent and those living in this nation are participating in the forum to analyze in a panel their role in defending their country and fighting against the blockade imposed by the administration of US President Donald Trump.
A second panel will discuss the integration of the Cuban community abroad into the economic and social development of their homeland, inviting them to define opportunities for collaboration and investment.
The new Migration, Citizenship, and Immigration laws in their country will also be issues of debate at the meeting.
Uruguay’s main labor federation, PIT-CNT, will present the experience of social and labor integration of migrants in this nation.
The meeting will define an Action Plan and issue a Final Declaration.
