The Foreign Ministry stated that the visit will last until July 8 at the invitation of the foreign ministers of the four nations.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun noted that Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway were among the first European countries to recognize the People’s Republic of China and maintain a long history of friendly exchanges with Beijing.
Guo affirmed that the relations with these countries recorded, in the last few years, a steady development, with positive results in areas such as the green transition, trade, investment, and scientific and technological innovation.
The spokesperson added that Wang will hold talks with his counterparts on bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common concern.
Wang’s tour marks his second trip to Europe this year, following his participation in the Munich Security Conference in February and his visit to Hungary.
