The event will also be attended by investment promotion agencies and international financial institutions to analyze trade, investment, and innovation trends on the continent.
The meeting, organized by the Dominican Republic’s Export and Investment Center (ProDominicana) and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies, seeks to foster strategic alliances, promote new investment flows towards high-impact projects and strengthen regional economic cooperation.
Among the countries confirmed are included the United States, Spain, India, Saudi Arabia, China, United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Germany, Colombia, Argentina, Panama, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Paraguay, Barbados, Puerto Rico, and Suriname.
The agenda includes lectures, high-level panels, technical sessions and business meetings focused on sectors such as sustainable tourism, advanced manufacturing, energy transition, infrastructure, logistics, creative industries and artificial intelligence.
The inaugural event will feature Dominican President Luis Abinader, as well as economist Ricardo Hausmann, director of the Growth Lab at Harvard University, who will speak as a guest speaker.
During the forum will also be delivered the Recognition to Investment in the Dominican Republic 2026, which distinguishes foreign companies for their contribution to the economic progress of the country through innovation, sustainability, job creation and knowledge transfer.
According to the organizers, the Forum will bring together some 95 international panelists in more than 28 high-level sessions, with the aim of promoting opportunities and strengthening economic integration in the Americas.
