The meeting is jointly organized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the Education Ministry, the All-China Youth Federation, and the Beijing Municipal Government.

Yin Li, Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC)’s Beijing Municipal Committee, affirmed that the capital will continue to improve the development environment for Taiwanese youth to facilitate their studies, employment, and life in the city.

Yin expressed hope that young people from both sides of the Strait will strengthen exchanges, share the opportunities of China’s modernization, and contribute to the peaceful development of relations between the two sides.

The Cross-Strait Youth Summit, held regularly, is one of the leading platforms for exchange between young people from mainland China and Taiwan to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation.
