The diplomatic mission stated in a press release, “In the last two years, more than 25 similar incidents involving drones have been recorded against Russian institutions in Sweden, including the Russian Embassy in Stockholm and the trade representation.”

The Russian Embassy in Sweden was again targeted by drone attacks. One of the drones dropped paint, and the other, carrying a replica of an improvised explosive device, landed near the embassy.

Following the incident, the Russian diplomatic mission sent a note to the Swedish Foreign Ministry requesting the results of the investigation.

The Russian embassy added that, despite its repeated requests to Swedish authorities to thoroughly investigate these incidents and ensure the protection of Russian facilities in accordance with Sweden’s international obligations, “none of the investigations have yielded any concrete results.”
