Russian Army seizes five more settlements in Donetsk and Kharkiv

Moscow, Jul 4 (Prensa Latina) The Russian army has expanded its control within the military operation zone to include Vasylivka in Donetsk, as well as Shyikivka, Novi Mir, Cherneshchyna, and Druzheliubivka in Kharkiv, the Ministry of Defense reported.

The military agency stated on its official Telegram channel that units from the “West” troop group moved forward to more advantageous lines and positions, securing control over the localities of Shyikivka, Novi Mir, Cherneshchyna, and Druzheliubivka in the Ukrainian province of Kharkiv.

The defense ministry also announced that units from the “Center” group captured the settlement of Vasylivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Along the operational lines of these two groups, enemy losses totaled over 310 military personnel (“Center”) and over 230 (“West”) in a single day.

Added to these figures are more than 375 casualties along the “East” group’s operational line; over 205 for the “North” group; up to 170 caused by the “South” group; and up to 60 along the “Dnieper” group’s operational line.

Furthermore, Ukrainian troops lost four armored combat vehicles, 86 motor vehicles, 13 artillery pieces, one RAK-SA-12 multiple rocket launcher, and five electronic warfare stations.

Over the past day, Russian air defenses shot down 16 guided aerial bombs, 10 long-range Flamingo cruise missiles, nine HIMARS multiple rocket launcher projectiles, and 893 drones.
