Aliyev announced the full normalization of relations with Russia during his address at the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, and stressed the importance of bilateral ties for the entire region.

The head of State underscored, “We attach great importance to our relations with Russia. We have also seen statements from Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin, pointing out that relations between our countries are developing positively.”

Aliyev added that the contacts continue at governmental and ministerial levels. Cooperation covers both traditional and emerging areas, with a particular focus on transportation, trade, and humanitarian affairs.

The Azerbaijani president also affirmed that relations between Baku and the United States are at their best. He remembered his meetings with his US counterpart, Donald Trump, and the signing of the strategic partnership agreement.
