Through his account on the social network X, Rodriguez extended his condolences to the relatives of Roa Kourí, as well as to the entire collective of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Caribbean country and the Institute of International Relations.

According to the Board of Directors of the Raul Roa Garcia Honorary Professorship, of which the deceased served as president, his physical departure, at the age of 90, constitutes a significant loss for Cuban diplomacy and for those who had the privilege of knowing her exemplary vocation to service, her integrity and her wisdom.

In the official statement, the chair also highlights Roa Kourí’s ongoing commitment to preserving and spreading the thought and work of her father, Raúl Roa García, the “Chancellor of Dignity”.

The institution highlighted its constant honor to the legacy of a family deeply committed to the sovereignty and dignity of Cuba.

The chair pays tribute to the memory of who will remain as a reference point for revolutionary diplomacy and defense of the principles that distinguish the Cuban nation.
