The Foreign Ministry stated that Pakistan continues monitoring the situation closely and reiterated its firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries in the conflict zone, which it described as brothers.

It urged compliance with the commitments under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, which was signed by Iran and the United States.

New US airstrikes on Iranian territory triggered a military response from Tehran against US targets located in Jordan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, and Oman.

Given this situation, the Pakistani diplomatic institution ratified its commitment to providing all necessary support to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region through dialogue and diplomacy.
