“For us, peace is our strength and our power; and the truth—the truth of a blessed, prosperous, and victorious Nicaragua—makes us increasingly free,” the leader stated yesterday in remarks to the media.

  She noted that the tranquility and peace Nicaragua enjoys confirm, in her view, the importance of the Sandinista Popular Revolution and the unity of families around values ​​such as love, solidarity, and harmony.

  “As this happy and peaceful Nicaragua confirms to us—along with the glorious nature of our heroic revolution, and the confirmation provided by this calm, happy, peaceful, and secure Nicaragua—the common good unites us all,” she said.

  The Co-President attributed this joy, first and foremost, to God and to the legacy of Nicaragua’s founding figures, heroes, and martyrs, affirming that the atmosphere of peace confirms the country is advancing toward a future of well-being.

  Murillo also expressed wishes for blessings upon those who, she noted, boost feelings of hatred and malice, and called on them to find the inner harmony and tranquility that, she asserted, every human being deserves.

  The leader reaffirmed Nicaragua’s commitment to peace and harmony, invoking Jesus Christ as the Prince of Peace and God as the source of harmony and hope for families.
