The initiative, convened by the World Poetry Movement, will take place at the CubaPoesua Cultural Center in Havana, with the participation of important figures such as Nancy Morejon and Waldo Leyva, both recipients of the National Literature Prize.
Antonio Guerrero, Virgilio Lopez Lemus, Alex Pausides, Karel Leyva, Dimarys Aguila, Yeilen Delgado, Jorge Angel Hernandez, and Yolanda Moreno will also share their work with the audience.
The action seeks to bring together—as on previous occasions—renowned practitioners of poetry in an effort to not remain indifferent to the new reality.
This time, Cuban intellectuals will once again unite their voices for total peace, “so threatened by the United States government,” according to the call for the meeting.
