Organized by the Cuban Embassy in Pakistan and the Pakistan-Cuba Social Forum, the exhibition opened on Thursday at the diplomatic mission, with a display of books on the Cuban leader.

Political figures, members of the accredited diplomatic corps, intellectuals, and solidarity friends, including Atadjan Movlamov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Pakistan, and Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, attended the event.

Diplomatic sources stated that Hussain Syed highlighted in a masterful address the historical stature of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro and his legacy.

Cuban Ambassador to this nation, Damian Cordero, noted that, along with the 100th birthday of the Commander-in-Chief, Cuba will also commemorate National Rebelliousness Day on July 26, the date on which Fidel and a group of young people attacked the Guillermon Moncada Garrison and the Carlos Manuel de Cespedes Garrison, both in eastern Cuba, to change the lives of the Cuban nation.
