The fleet, acquired through the Financial Fund for Transportation Development, consists of 20 vehicles assigned to Taxis Cuba Company to support the regular medical services of the local healthcare system.

This additional vehicle allows for the maintenance of a service highly vulnerable to fuel shortages and the wear and tear of older cars, protecting essential transportation to Holguin’s healthcare facilities.

Upon inspecting the vehicles’ deployment, the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the province, Joel Queipo Ruiz, emphasized the fleet’s significant social impact on the care of these patients.
