Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that the attacks struck the outskirts of Tallousa and Markaba, igniting fires in the affected areas.
According to the source, Israeli forces also shelled residential sectors of Markaba, where successive explosions were heard and plumes of smoke were observed.
Separately, an Israeli drone dropped a sonic bomb over the town of Mansouri, in the Tyre district, causing no injuries. The agency added that Israeli unmanned aerial vehicles flew over Beirut and its southern suburbs.
These attacks occur amidst ongoing Israeli violations of the framework agreement signed with Lebanon on June 26 under U.S. auspices.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the Israeli offensive launched on March 2, 2026, has so far resulted in 4,330 deaths and 12,236 injuries.
Despite the agreement, Israel maintains its occupation of several areas in southern Lebanon—some held for decades and others seized during the 2023-2024 conflict. During the current offensive, its forces have penetrated more than 10 kilometers into Lebanese territory.
