PSUV Secretary General Diosdado Cabello announced at his press briefing on Monday that they will celebrate Chavez’s birthday, amid the “national tragedy, but we will still mobilize this Tuesday to remember him.”

Cabello asserted that the Bolivarian leader, along with Liberator Simon Bolivar, is the guide of this Revolution and of the entire great national movement that began on February 27 and 28, 1989, and continued on February 4, 1992.

The political leader underscored that, amid the pain of the June 24 national tragedy due to the impact of two earthquakes, “we will mobilize to remember Chavez on his 72nd birthday.”

As on every July 28 since the death in March 2013 of the man known here as the Supreme Commander, the PSUV, his followers, and the people pay tribute and remember the Bolivarian commander, whose remains rest in the Mountains Barracks in Caracas.
