The institution described the bombings as an unacceptable act of aggression and a flagrant violation of Iraqi sovereignty, as well as an attack on official security agencies.
The Presidency stated that these actions violate international law and the United Nations Charter, and reaffirmed Baghdad’s categorical rejection of any aggression against its territory.
It also reiterated its opposition to Iraq being used as a platform to launch attacks on neighboring countries or as a stage for settling regional and international scores.
The text noted that this stance is based on the principle of good neighbors, respect for the sovereignty of States, and non-interference in their internal affairs.
The Presidency called on all parties to respect Iraqi sovereignty and refrain from taking any measures that could threaten the country’s security and stability.
