According to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), the earthquake was detected at a depth of 6 kilometers, with its epicenter monitored at 28.54 degrees North latitude and 104.67 degrees East longitude.
Following the quake, the China Earthquake Administration (CEA) activated a Level IV disaster response and sent a field team to the affected area to assist authorities in conducting emergency response and disaster relief operations.
