Addressing one of the ceremonies for National Cybersecurity Day, Minh Hung stated that ensuring cybersecurity must involve a close and synchronized connection between protecting systems and protecting people.
At the headquarters of the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention at the Public Security Ministry, the prime minister urged not to fall into complacency or satisfaction and focus on solving cybercrime, cyberattacks, online fraud, and personal data breaches, which have a direct impact on people’s lives, business operations, and national security.
He emphasized that the country has entered an era of strong development in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, which are identified as the main driving forces for improving labor productivity and the competitiveness of the national economy, thus contributing to achieving double-digit economic growth. During the ceremony, PM Minh Hung called on government institutions, businesses, and civil society to cooperate in removing obstacles related to cybersecurity, data security, and the protection of personal data.
