The competent authorities are continuing their investigation to clarify the circumstances of the operation, identify its organizers, and detain other individuals allegedly involved.

The agency pointed out that those involved will be subject to the corresponding legal measures once the investigations are concluded.

The General Authority of Ports and Customs emphasized that the operation is part of the ongoing efforts to monitor territorial waters and protect the Syrian coastline.

It also stated that the Coast Guard maintains patrols and monitoring operations aimed at combating human trafficking and irregular migration attempts.
