According to the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management, 80,744 homes have been damaged, 12,504 destroyed, and 66 buildings collapsed.
The impact on infrastructure and services is also considerable. To date, damage has been reported at 260 health centers, 2,595 educational institutions, and 2,116 community centers, as well as 267 roads, 87 aqueducts, 55 vehicular bridges and 10 pedestrian bridges, and five airports.
The cities most affected by the earthquake are Pereira, Manizales, Quibdo, Armenia, and Cali.
In Cali, the death toll exceeds one hundred, and the number of injured surpasses 1,400, according to a report by the Colombian Association of Capital Cities.
According to the same source, 107 homes were destroyed and 800 damaged.
There are also reports of 45 collapsed structures, 1,142 damaged structures, and 214 affected educational institutions. Regarding public services, the report identifies 26 damaged sections of the water system and 2,690 areas without power.
