Conducted online on August 13, the survey showed the president’s approval rating at 35 percent—a figure far below the results from June, when it hovered around 40 percent.
Regarding citizens’ priorities, the top concern is improving security (28 percent), followed by public health (16 percent), more jobs and better wages (15 percent), and economic recovery (12 percent).
When evaluating the handling of security, 54 out of every 100 respondents considered it worse than expected, compared to 19 who considered it better.
The survey included 802 participants aged 18 and older from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
