The event, established in 2024 as part of the summer program, has become a regular fixture at the former private residence of the 1992 Miguel de Cervantes Prize winner—author of the novel *Jardin* (garden)—located in Havana’s Vedado neighborhood.
According to the cultural center, prominent figures of Cuban culture have graced the mansion’s veranda, including recipients of National Awards in Literature and other artistic disciplines, as well as researchers and intellectuals.
Many knew the poetess during her lifetime, while others have delved into her work or written about her, the center noted on social media.
Poet Tomasa Gonzalez, the institution’s director, has invited all the figures and artists who participated in the gatherings over the past year, as well as the regular audience.
“For without you, this gathering—held on the fourth Friday of every month—would have no meaning,” the invitation states.
The event will mark the conclusion of the 2026 summer program, with regular activities resuming in September.
