The 6th plenary session of that body was held in Beijing with the participation of 116 members.
The Standing Committee of the CCDI presided over the meeting, in which Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of that entity, took the floor.
The plenary session assessed the disciplinary inspection and oversight work conducted during the first half of 2026 and established the tasks for the next stage.
The meeting called for strengthening ideological guidance and implementing President Xi Jinping’s thought on Party building in all areas of disciplinary and supervisory work.
The CCDI is the leading CPC body responsible for disciplinary supervision and plays a central role in China’s policy of controlling and punishing corruption.
