The military institution’s press service stated that during the maneuvers, the missile ships Naro-Fominsk, Stavropol, Serpukhov, and Grad destroyed a detachment of simulated enemy ships.
The statement read, “Operating at naval firing fields, a strike group composed of missile boats conducted simulated electronic firings of Kalibr missile systems against a detachment of simulated enemy warships.”
The exercises were conducted jointly with the crews of Bal coastal missile systems, which, according to the training scenario, deployed to the designated area after marching from pre-established positions.
After practicing the simulated missile launch, the systems’ crews changed their firing positions.
