Huge concert in Bogota to raise funds for earthquake victims

Bogota, Aug 23 (Prensa Latina) Renowned national and international artists will perform at a major concert in the capital, primarily aimed at raising funds to help those affected by the earthquake that struck Colombia.

The charity event, titled “Voces por la Vida” (Voices for Life), will feature performances by around thirty artists, notably Andres Cepeda, ChocQuibTown, Greeicy, Grupo Niche, Karol G (via livestream), and Maluma.

Also performing will be Manuel Medrano, Manuel Turizo, Miguel Bosse, Mike Bahia, Pedro Capo, Sebastian Yatra, and Silvestre Dangond, among others.

It has been reported that all proceeds from ticket sales and event-related donations will go toward supporting the reconstruction of homes and infrastructure damaged by the earthquake.

According to the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD), the death toll from the earthquake in Colombia has reached 329.

The agency confirmed that there are 4,600 injured, 234 missing, and 364 rescued individuals.
