“On Wednesday, Ministry of Defense forces and the Bars NN detachment repelled an attack by more than 40 drones. An industrial facility, several homes, and vehicles sustained damage,” Nikitin posted on his Telegram channel.
Nikitin noted that specialists are working at the site where debris fell and that efforts are underway to mitigate the attack’s aftermath. He also pledged to provide assistance to all citizens whose property was damaged.
Meanwhile, the governor of the Russian city of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, announced that Russian Armed Forces had destroyed three Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo long-range cruise missiles over the Black Sea.
“Our military and air defense forces repelled the first missile attack in a long time. The three FP-5 Flamingo long-range cruise missiles were detected in time and neutralized over the Black Sea, at a safe distance from the Sevastopol coast,” Razvozhayev wrote on the Max platform.
Drone attacks launched from Ukraine against military and civilian targets deep within Russian territory—particularly oil terminals and refineries, and in recent weeks, logistics centers for major e-commerce companies—have since become a regular occurrence.
