According to an investigation published by *Piaui* magazine, Vorcaro transferred $1,666,667 on September 16, 2025, to the Havengate Development Fund, a U.S. fund used to manage resources earmarked for film production.
This detail, included in a Coaf report, contradicts a statement made during a GloboNews interview by Flavio Bolsonaro—a presidential candidate for the Liberal Party—who claimed that Vorcaro’s final payment for the film had taken place in May 2025.
The September transfer occurred eight days after Flavio demanded payment of overdue installments from Vorcaro, according to messages previously revealed during the investigation into the financing of *Dark Horse*, a film inspired by his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro.
With that disbursement, the total amount sent by the Banco Master owner to the film project rose from $10.6 million to $12.3 million—more than 65 million reais at the exchange rate of the time, according to the publication.
Vorcaro has been detained in the capital since last March as part of the Federal Police’s “Operation Compliance Zero,” which is investigating alleged financial fraud at Banco Master that reportedly caused losses amounting to billions of reais.
The magazine’s report also revealed a WhatsApp exchange dated October 22, 2025, between Vorcaro and advertising executive Thiago Miranda, who was involved in raising funds for the film.
Brazilian authorities are investigating whether the entirety of the funds received by Havengate was allocated to the film’s production and are seeking to determine the role played by Eduardo Bolsonaro in the management of those funds.
