In a ruling sent to the Supreme Federal Court (STF) on Wednesday, the entity stated that Vorcaro did not present evidence to support his claims of having suffered “serious intimidation” during the negotiations.
The testimony was taken last week by an auxiliary judge of STF Minister Andre Mendonça, rapporteur in the Banco Master case, after the former banker’s defense requested that he be heard.
Vorcaro remains in jail and is seeking to resume negotiations for a plea bargain, a possibility already rejected twice by both the Federal Police (PF) and the Attorney General’s Office.
The statement comes amid renewed controversy surrounding the investigation into Banco Master and information extracted from Vorcaro’s cell phone seized during the Operation Compliance Zero investigation.
