Among the heads of State who sent letters to the DPRK’s President of the State Affairs Commission were Xi Jinping (China), Vladimir Putin (Russia), To Lam (Vietnam), Thongloun Sisoulith (Laos), and Alexander Lukashenko (Belarus).
KCNA published the messages, all of which highlighted the successes the Korean people achieved over their 78-year history.
Xi stated that, particularly in recent years, the General Secretary has achieved a series of progressive ir successes by focusing on socioeconomic development and leading the Korean Party and people, which greatly pleases the Chinese side.
Meanwhile, Putin pledged to Kim to continue joint efforts to consolidate the comprehensive strategic partnership between their states, which have upheld the principles of friendship, good-neighborly relations, and mutual assistance.
Lukashenko noted, by remembering his official visit to this capital in March: “I am pleased with the proper implementation of all agreements reached during our productive meeting, in accordance with the interests of the peoples of our two countries.”
Thongloun expressed confidence that the traditional friendly relations between Laos and the DPRK would further expand and develop in the future, driven by the joint efforts of both sides and their excellent ties of friendship and cooperation.
Similarly, To Lam expressed his interest in continuing to develop cooperation relations between the two parties and countries, in line with the interests of the peoples of each nation.
