The event also commemorates the four decades of the association of young creators and took place at the Alfredo Guevara Cinema Hall at Havana’s Pabellon Cuba.
The audiovisual project, produced by the OEI, gathers real-life stories of personal growth from four countries and highlights the role of education and culture as forces capable of changing the lives of individuals and communities, the AHS added on social media.
The gathering provides a journey through Ibero-America featuring testimonies from those who chose not to give up—experiences that reflect resilience and collective progress.
The leadership highlighted upcoming initiatives in various provinces, such as *Letra Viva* (Living Letter), dedicated to narrative journalism and its links to literature; the *Todo por el Arte* (Everything for Art) event; and the Antonio Lloga *In Memoriam* National Contest for young radio broadcasters.
These will be joined by another edition of the Aldabon Literary Prize, the 2026 *Maestros de Juventudes* (Mentors of Youth) Awards, the Alma AHS Distinction, the presentation of replicas of the Saiz brothers monument, the Hispano-American Writers’ Gathering, and numerous creative grants.
The goal is to bring art to communities, schools, and cultural and workplace venues across the country, as well as to integrate diverse programs at the organization’s 32 provincial branches.
