The publication, which covers various events linked to the “100 Years with Fidel” commemorations, also highlights the 35th anniversary of the formation of the Juan Rius Rivera Brigade, noted journalist Perla Franco at La Casa Soberanista in San Juan.

The presenter, herself a member of the Juan Rius Rivera Brigade, gave a detailed presentation on the contents of the 108-page, full-color magazine—a project completed in less than a month following the brigade members’ return to Puerto Rico.

The CSC President Milagros Rivera highlighted the efforts of leaders Dario W. Ortiz Seda and Wanda Ivelisse Gonzalez Velez in bringing the publication to fruition, as well as the work of Alejandro Cordoba, a Colombian collaborator responsible for the art and design of the magazine for the “Eternal Brigade of the Solidarity Heart: 2026, Year of the Centenary of Commander Fidel Castro.”

She also expressed gratitude for the various contributions made by the Brigade members who formed the delegation that traveled to Cuba; in addition to participating in the Colloquium and touring various Cuban cities, they were present at the launch event in San Juan.

She revealed that they had received a moving message from Yara Varela, Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at ICAP (Cuban Friendship Institute).

As the event took place on the eve of another CSC anniversary, educator and poet Juan Camacho offered a toast for three main reasons: the CSC’s 34th anniversary, the new “mega-magazine,” and the recovery of Milagros Rivera, who was making her fifth public appearance since March 2025.
