A call to action titled “Volvemos Pa’ Cuba” (We’re Going Back to Cuba) is circulating across various digital platforms; it notes that the Latin American and Caribbean Network of Solidarity with Cuba and Just Causes is organizing this regional initiative, scheduled to take place from November 24 to December 7 of this year.

  Norberto Galiotti, a native of Rosario, told Prensa Latina that the Argentine Movement of Solidarity with Cuba (MASCuba) aims to achieve several objectives with this call: to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the *Granma* yacht landing; to pay tribute to the historic leader Fidel Castro on the tenth anniversary of his passing into immortality; and to deliver material aid to Santiago de Cuba.

  Also, a cultural event is scheduled for November 25 at the University of Havana’s Grand Staircase; subsequently, on November 26 and 27, the group will carry out volunteer work at CIJAM and visit the Fidel Castro Ruz Center in the capital.

  They will travel to Santiago de Cuba, where an event is being organized for November 30 to mark the 70th anniversary of the armed uprising in that eastern Cuban city; on December 3, they will participate in a colloquium on Fidel, accompanied by a cultural evening.  

  Liliana Perna, a member of MASCuba, told Prensa Latina that “the significance of this brigade lies in the fact that there will be participants from every continent—who are also bringing donations—and there will be a massive march through the streets of Santiago. It will truly be a demonstration that Cuba is not alone,” Perna emphasized.

   The brigade will join an internationalist march—a grassroots pilgrimage—to the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery, the final resting place of Fidel and the independence hero Jose Marti.

  The journey will end with a solidarity gathering at the Santiago headquarters of the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP) and a visit to the Tercer Frente area in the Sierra Maestra mountains, where the Cuban Revolution took shape.
