Via its Facebook page, the institution highlighted the strengthening of the country’s Civil Registry—a process that involved digitizing record books and millions of pages of birth, marriage, and death records to safeguard national memory and expedite inquiries.
It also underscored the implementation of the “Soberania” (Sovereignty) and “Bienestar” (Well-being) platforms as tools for requesting certificates using digital signatures and QR codes, as well as new development initiatives undertaken with the Ministry of Communications (Mincom) to optimize these online procedures.
In this regard, it emphasized the application of AI technologies to registry searches and the consolidation of digital signatures and electronic notarial documents.
In a social media, the Minjus also noted advances in institutional interoperability by linking its systems with other state social services, thereby ensuring greater transparency and efficiency in legal and registry procedures across the country.
