The CEC stated that the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) is second with 13.81 percent, followed by the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) with 8.92 percent.
The New People party reached 7.97 percent, and the Just Russia party, with 4.96 percent, fell four hundredths of a percentage point short of the threshold required to enter Parliament.
The remaining five political groups (the Party of Pensioners for Social Justice, the Russian Ecological Party “The Greens,” the Communists of Russia, the Rodina (Motherland) party, and the Party of Direct Democracy) failed to garner the necessary support to secure representation in the State Duma.
Russia concluded three days of parliamentary elections on Sunday, which began on September 18, to renew the State Duma, a body comprising 450 lawmakers who will serve five-year terms and form the 9th legislature.
President Vladimir Putin described these elections as the most important event in domestic politics.
