Russian Army captures four Ukrainian settlements in the last day

Moscow, Sept 24 (Prensa Latina) Russian army units conducting the special military operation took control of four settlements over the past day, the Ministry of Defense announced today. As the military agency detailed on its official Telegram channel this Thursday, units from the "East" troop grouping continued to penetrate enemy defenses and occupied the town of Svetlaya Dolina in the Zaporozhye region.

The military department added that units from the 51st Army of the “East” group secured control of the village of Maloye on the outskirts of the city of Dobropolye, in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Meanwhile, in the Ukrainian region of Kharkiv, forces from the “North” grouping took control of the localities of Buzovo and Khizhnyakovo.

The Russian Ministry of Defense estimated that the Ukrainian Army suffered approximately 1,290 casualties in the last 24 hours.

The “Center” group inflicted the highest number of casualties on the enemy—375—followed by the “East” (240), “West” (230), “North” (225), “South” (175), and “Dnieper” (45) groups.

Ukrainian losses in military hardware over the past day include three tanks—including a German-made Leopard—six armored vehicles, three standard artillery pieces, 97 military vehicles, five electronic warfare stations, and 244 fixed-wing drones.
