Exchanges between Cuban academic experts and British Council officials made it possible to devise joint strategies to coordinate university committees, teaching specialists, and education authorities in the eastern region.
The UHo project directors and researchers highlighted that pedagogical training serves as a transformative tool to accelerate social inclusion through the use of hybrid methodologies, audiovisual resources, and digital platforms.
As part of the working sessions, the institutions signed agreements covering training and applied research in English language teaching, the hosting of international workshops and scientific symposiums, and the exchange of specialized publications.
Participants in the discussions included officials from the Ministry of Education, representatives from the Canadian Studies Chair, the Language Center, and members of the Gender Studies Chair at the Holguin university.
