In an interview with CNN—rebroadcast by QNA—the Qatari top diplomat noted that Doha has observed Israeli failures to meet obligations established in the agreement reached in Sharm El-Sheikh on October 9, 2025.

  Al Thani upheld that whenever mediators ask Israel to implement a provision of the agreement, “it rejects it and acts in the opposite direction”—behavior that, he asserted, serves the interests of “Netanyahu and his far-right government.”

  The Qatari diplomat accused Israel of failing to honor commitments regarding troop withdrawals, the ceasefire, and the entry of humanitarian aid, while asserting that Hamas had fulfilled its first-phase obligations by releasing Israeli captives.

  The senior Qatari official pointed out that Israel restricts the entry of food, medicines, medical supplies, shelter materials, and prefabricated housing into a territory where millions of Palestinians face a critical humanitarian situation.

  He added that mediating countries have a “long list of violations” attributed to the Netanyahu government.

  In the interview, Al Thani rejected allegations that funds from Qatar had reached the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.
