The head of government noted that the measures foster the integration, autonomy, and diversity of the island’s business sector and boost the participation of all economic actors in Cuba’s development.
“The challenge now lies in achieving concrete results based on these measures: increased production, higher revenues, better prices, and more jobs,” Marrero emphasized during the closing session of a training program for the presidents of business groups and governing boards.
At the event, held over three days at the Higher School for State and Government Cadres, it was reported that the measures currently being implemented in the country are backed by 197 legal regulations.
The meeting also addressed the opportunities these approved measures provide business leaders to unleash productive forces and generate wealth that translates into an improved quality of life for the Cuban population.
