According to the call, the Prize covers four categories: written press, radio, television and hypermedia; the latter includes websites, personal blogs, social networks and multimedia.

Members or non-members of the AHS may participate, provided that they have not obtained the lauro in the previous edition in the category in which they compete.

Each author will be able to present up to three independent works or as part of a series, in any journalistic genre, with cultural themes , explained the organization of young creators on social networks.

The materials must have been published between November 1, 2025 and October 31 of this year and the reception will close on October 31; communication products must be sent by email.

In written press will be received PDF; on radio, television and hypermedia the URL can be sent, and on radio and television also digital support at any of the headquarters of the AHS in the country, specified the call.

Each work must be accompanied by a document with the personal data of the author and details of the material, such as title, category, medium and publication date.

There will be only one award per category, which includes diploma and an economic prize.

The jury, made up of media professionals in Cuba, may award mentions and its decision will not be appealed.

The results will be announced in January 2027, at a public gala in the Cuba Pavilion, national headquarters of the Hermanos Saiz Association and the contest is part of the 40th anniversary of the organization of creators.
