The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that Netanyahu’s trip took place in a “sensitive situation,” marked, according to Tehran, by Israeli airstrikes on Iran and the situation in Palestine and Lebanon.
“The presence of this divisive entity in the region creates a dangerous situation,” the diplomatic institution affirmed, and urged regional countries to remain vigilant against what it described as Israeli threats to shared peace and security.
The Ministry also called on regional states to prevent their territories from being used for actions that could undermine regional stability.
Israeli media reported that Netanyahu made an unannounced visit to the UAE on September 27 to meet with representatives from several countries.
Officials from Israel and the UAE, as well as representatives from Saudi Arabia, the United States, Morocco, Kuwait, Bahrain, Libya, Oman, and Egypt reportedly attended the meeting.
The Iranian warning comes amid regional tensions linked to the conflict involving Tehran, the United States, and Israel.
