Through the CRISSS project, supported by Belgium’s Flemish Interuniversity Council (VLIR-UOS), professionals from the Holguin university will teach at a dual-degree training program in the fields of engineering and smart service solutions.
This international cooperation alliance links the institution in eastern Cuba with Belgian higher education centers, such as KU Leuven, the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and Hasselt University.
Academic officials and program coordinators have outlined the methodological and institutional roadmap to ensure the implementation of the initiative, which is designed to consolidate the region’s research capacity and contribute directly to national scientific priorities.
