Activities dedicated to the centenary of the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and the 50th anniversary of the Ministry of Culture’s creation also feature a Performing Arts season, running from October 16 to 20.

  The “Toda la Musica” (All Music) event is also scheduled—organized by the Provincial Center for Music and Performing Arts—from October 20 to 24, featuring concert bands and musical groups of various formats.

  The “Fiesta de la Cubania” (Celebration of Cuban Identity) on October 17 will also be a highlight of the cultural program; notable among the various initiatives is a panel discussion featuring founders and prominent members from the history of the Hermanos Saiz Association in Villa Clara.

  Additionally, a handicraft trade fair organized by the local branch of the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets is planned for the city from October 19 to 24.

  Meanwhile, on October 20, the “Con un poco de amor” (With a Little Love) gala marking Cuban Culture Day will take place at the Marti Provincial Library in Santa Clara, alongside the presentation of the Provincial Community Culture Award.
