The event marks the 70th anniversary of its founding as the Asian nation’s primary commercial platform.

More than 11,000 specialized companies—leaders in their respective sectors—are taking part in this year’s exhibition.

The 64% of the exhibitors incorporate artificial intelligence and industrial internet technologies into their processes.

New products and eco-friendly (green) products account for 23.2% and 26% of the total, respectively.

According to the organizers, over 700 new product launches are scheduled—a 15% increase.

For the first time, the fair covers all ten major categories of productive services.

It was also noted that 36.5% of the participating companies have adopted a transformation model that integrates both products and services.

The organizers have introduced 22 “smart” settings and 16 specific artificial intelligence applications.

Zhu Yong, director of the China Foreign Trade Centre, highlighted a commitment to multilateralism and underscored the desire—shared with international participants—to maintain an open global economy.

Meanwhile, a representative from the Spanish retail chain El Corte Inglés expressed to local press a desire to continue as a partner to Chinese manufacturers.
