In a statement, the political force commended the resilience and organization of the Workers’ Party, which succeeded in “interpreting the historical aspirations of the Brazilian working class,” as well as its ally, the Communist Party of Brazil.
The text also acknowledged all the political forces that united under the “Brazil of Hope” Federation to secure this victory.
The statement expressed admiration—above all—for the popular movements, the youth, workers, women, farmers, and Indigenous peoples, as well as the entire “impressive march” of joyful and spirited people who filled the streets and ensured that the process remained on an institutional and peaceful path.
The PSUV reaffirmed its commitment to the struggles and aspirations of the Brazilian people, pledging to “continue to stand with them in the spirit of fraternity and respect that characterizes 21st-century Bolivarian internationalism.”
