Havana, Oct 20 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today highlighted the importance of singing the Bayamo Anthem, for the first time, 155 years ago, which emerged during the battle for independence from Spain and became the National Anthem.

Havana, Oct 20 (Prensa Latina) President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Wednesday evoked the day in which the National Anthem was sung for the first time in the city of Bayamo, in eastern Cuba, a date in which Cuban Culture Day is celebrated.
