Quito, Feb 26 (Prensa Latina) The plenary session of Ecuador's National Assembly (Parliament) will vote a bill regarding mining and energy proposed by the Executive branch, which is rejected by indigenous groups and environmental activists.

Quito, Feb 16 (Prensa Latina) The president of the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (CONAIE), Marlon Vargas, called for the shelving of the mining and energy bill promoted today by the government of Daniel Noboa.
