Montevideo, Jun 23 (Prensa Latina) With the majority vote of the Broad Front bloc, the Uruguayan Senate endorsed the government's economic performance, following a 12-hour hearing by the opposition led by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Gabriel Oddone. During the lengthy session, Senator Sergio Botana, who was leading the questioning, challenged the overall state of the economy, growth prospects, and the functioning of pension fund administrators, among other issues.
