Illiteracy rate increases in DR, adult education plan lags behind

Santo Domingo, Jul 10 (Prensa Latina) The illiteracy rate in the Dominican Republic has reportedly risen from 5.5% to 6.5% due to the Covid-19 pandemic that unfortunately disrupted the country´s education programs for people aged 15 and older.
