Caracas, May 16 (Prensa Latina) The Venezuelan Government has rejected a report by the United States on religious freedom, and charged that Washington continues to assume powers not granted to it by multilateral mechanisms or other sovereign States.
Caracas, Apr 4 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Tuesday recalled the validity of US civil rights fighter Martin Luther King's thinking on the 55th anniversary of his assassination. On his Twitter account, the president pointed out that the Afro-American leader "made great contributions to the construction of humanist thinking, 55 years after his assassination, those of us who reject injustice and discrimination, continue to fight for the dreams of peace and equality to materialize,' Maduro tweeted.
